Hi 👋  I'm Ed Carey - a photographer with a passion for telling honest, engaging stories through imagery.

With a BA in Fine Art and an MA in Documentary Photography & Photojournalism, my work is rooted in observation, authenticity and narrative. Whether I'm photographing people, products or places, I'm always looking for the moments that feel genuine and the details that often go unnoticed.

My documentary background has taught me to anticipate fleeting moments and capture them naturally, creating photographs that feel real rather than staged. It's an approach I bring to every project, whether I'm covering a corporate event, photographing a product launch or documenting the energy behind the scenes.

Before pursuing photography full-time, I spent seven years working in hospitality, including managing a busy cocktail bar. That experience taught me how to work under pressure, communicate with people from all walks of life and put others at ease - skills that have become just as valuable behind the camera as they were behind the bar.

Today, I specialise in event photography, brand storytelling, product photography and behind-the-scenes content, helping businesses and individuals create imagery that's authentic, engaging and full of personality.

My goal is simple: to create photographs that don't just show what happened, but capture what it felt like to be there.
